August 25th - #PatchingGuelphTogether

We closed out our final #MarketMornings on August 25th, and we had our biggest crowd yet! Over 40 visitors collaborated and created together to make 45 one-of-a-kind patches.

Did you miss out on your chance to make a patch? Don't despair! You have one more chance during the Culture Hub and Makers Market, an activity running on September 29th at City Hall from 9am to Noon as part of the Ontario Culture Days celebrations.

We will have all that is left of our patches, and even one all-new patch inspired by this project!

Photos of all the patches created in #PatchingGuelphTogether will be on display at this event. Come out and meet your Market Mornings artist for 2018 one last time!

August 18th - #PatchingGuelphTogether

Saturday, August 18th brought us week 3 of Market Mornings at the Guelph Farmer's Market!
Our theme this week was "Waterways and Trails" -  We featured the two rivers and Guelph lake on one design, and the covered bridge where the rivers meet on our other design.

People enjoyed putting their own spin on the covered bridge - from funky paint jobs to stunning sunsets. This week we had more love for Guelph sports, including the beloved Royals, the Gryphons, and the more "fringe" sports of Roller Derby, Ultimate Frisbee, and Quidditch.

Thank you to all who participated in week two of #PatchingGuelphTogether for Market Mornings with the City of Guelph and the Guelph Farmer's Market.

Visit us again Saturday, August 25th from 10 am to Noon - we'll have new patch designs for you to customize! This will be our final week at the Farmer's Market, so please join us!
